Finally beating the game, after a few days of play. Well, it took more than a few days actually, I resumed playing the game after a couple of years absence, lucky I still have a saved a game somewhere. It's an OK game, but way to repetitive, research and manufacture can not be queued, can only manufacture ONE item at any one time!!! That's very odd...

BioShocked!!!

BioShock, the game made by Irrational Games, by the same people who made System Shock, Terranova, System Shock 2, Thief series was lunched a few days ago. I've been watching it's progress while it's still in development. This was one of the game I would definitely play and enjoy. I've been a big fan of Looking Glass Studio and then Irrational Games.

The BioShcok activation problem in the news made me think of buying this again... I will NOT be buying this game with it's current activation system. Heck I would not be buying any game with an activation system. Chang a few hardware in my PC and I need to reactivate? What are they thinking? I'd be very very mad, if my TV would stop working when I changed my living room furniture; or if I moved my TV from living room to bedroom... What stupid lousy shit!

I have alot of old games, Doom, Doom2, System Shock 1/2, Terranova, Thief, UFO Defence, Shadows of the Empire, Dark Forces, etc. I've changed my hardware countless times since I bought UFO and I still install and play UFO about once a year. If I'm not allowed to play it after 5 upgrades, up yours! I'm not buying it. I'm very disappointed of you Irrational.

There other day when I drove through the Stevens Creek boulevard near the Valco Park, I suddenly had a deja vu experience... I saw the Merlion - the symbol of Singapore, on a street corner... but I didn't have time to whip out my cellphone to take a phone. What's hack, Merlion in California?

Today I happen to drive pass again, this time I'm prepared.

Wow!!! Was it busy or what?! I was over as the Kwik-E-Mart in Mountain View this evening, I thought I was going to be the only dork there, but as it turned out, there were a whole bunch of other dorks there already. There was even a security guard doing the crowd control.
